This wallet is a mobile payment option from Multibanco, the most widely used payment method in Portugal. Customers who want to use it have to sign up for the service with Multibanco, linking their bank account to their mobile number.
The payment process is totally secure, as transactions are protected by SIBS (Sociedade Interbancária de Serviços S.A.). Plus, customers have to authorise the purchase on their mobile phone with their PIN or fingerprint within four minutes.
If not, the operation will not be completed and the customer will have to try again.
